No, iBurst is a private company and may keep its financial affairs private - except from SARS of course.

Um, if you're not aware of it, Telkom is the official/only/monopoly South African telecoms provider and, as such, any 'happenings' at Telkom has a direct influence on what we pay for iBurst....

So me thinks this is a relevant thread? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Geuss so.. but I dont know if this is going to neccesarily have much effect on us.. well it better anyway.
Way overdue for a price cut.

Oh and you post just didnt make that very clear.. seemed like there was nothing to discuss kinda..

hmm.. so anyone work at SARS, i want to see what Iburst are making, it should be a killing seeing as they went from charging R599 to about 5000 users a year ago to the same price to over 20000 users today! So they must be making a lot more money which we should see some of shurley?

I know that their burning rate is very high at the moment due to the rollout. I agree on the price cut - long overdue

Same with Vodacom & MTN, they didn't start off with a profit right away - most or all of the money went for more towers & digiboxes.

But look at them today, what is not sponsored by either Vodacom or MTN in this country?
