Brand suggestions for a dishwasher ?

The German brands are better ... i would go for the Bosch.

I'm very happy with my Samsung. Used to have a Defy though and it was an endless source of problems.
 
Bosch. Very Pricey, but you get low loise washing with great economy modes.
 
look at the rinse dispenser on the inside of the door,kelvinator has the poor type of dispenser(thumb screw gets stuck and you have to replace the whole mechanism)while bosch and samsung has a different type(push button lid dispenser),I myself prefer the bosch
 
Not sure which brand is the best, but I can assure you that it is not Whirlpool. Stay away...
 
Anything but DEFY!!! Worst quality in the world. Bosch, Miele, Smeg, Samsung are all good brands but pllleeasse stay away from Defy... Every single Defy product that my family has owned over the past 30 years has had its plastic turn an off yellow within a year and are plagued by mechanical issues.
 
Mom had a Miele for 12years.. Darn thing wouldn't want to pack up.... It eventually did last weekend, but mom insists a technician must come and have a look.....!
