I just wonder weather all these theories and predictions take leap years and time zones into accout?
For example, one 666 theory had it that the poop was gonna hit the fan at 2006/06/06 at 06:06.06sec in the morning. Was it GMT or SAST? 2 Hours diffirence ne!
Wonder what is going to happen on 2007/07/07 at 07:07.07sec AM? Are we all going to win the Jackpot?
I can only imagine how people reacted in 1666/06/06..shame. :p

Everyone has it all wrong. The Rapture has come and gone and no one was found worthy - hence we all "remained".

Which part of America are you talking about? NY or CA? (Different time zones)
NY tends to be hit by more disasters. There is always some hero to save CA.
 
When will people stop with all of these dates. We don't need any "prophets" to tell us that WWIII is on its way and some countries will start nuking each other. :rolleyes:

Sounds like one I came across, although he said that the anti-christ MAY reveal himself. The Bible Code is also a series of possibilities not meant to be taken as absolute truths. The code also said that Bush will win the election and that Kerry will be the next president. Umm, Bush won and Kerry is not the president unless he runs in '08 and wins. The code DOES NOT predict the future, only the possibilities. :rolleyes:

Ok, a number of things that doesn't make sense to me here. How can the odds be both 1 in 1017 and 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 and then again 1 in 10157 and 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000? How can 1017 silver dollars cover the state of Texas unless he was talking about on a map? But then how can a person do any travelling? Then how can the number of electrons in the universe be estimated at only around 1079 when there is millions of times that amount in a glass of water? :confused:

Any way it has been shown that the chance of all the prephecies becoming true as they have is very small. Any one who therefor says that it is just coincidence and can't possibly be true is delusional and a fool. He said that the end will come before "this" generation passes. There is a number of generation which He could have referred to, but the last one was when Israel was restored as a nation in 1948 so it could have been the generation from 1988 which would put it at no later than 2028. But for it to be before the generation passes it would happen before 2028. All the other prophecies came true so there's no reason why the last one won't come true. Something that everyone should at least consider there as the chances of it happening is a lot greater than the chance of evolution happening. ;)

No - it is supposition (any prophecy) 'came true'. All you have is a bunch of goobly gook - which 10 or 20 or 100 years later somebody says - gee, look at this, that 'event' makes 'this prophecy' true. Witches brew, and we know what happened to them.

What are you talking about? Of course I believe in myself, I'm a descendent of Zeus' second cousin twice removed.

My special powers are: The ability to lift objects with my mind, as long as they don't exceed approx. 5g. I'm able to skate on frozen water. And lastly, I'm able to piss of pupa with virtually every post I write. (approx. 3/5 posts annoy pupa to varying degrees)

No, it's all prophecies came true. Prophecies which were very specific. So it's not merely a case of something happened and hey look everybody it sounds like what was prophecised. It's very specific events foretold long before any of it happened.

Well if anyone wants to fall under the delusion that all of it happened by a very slim chance then that's fine by me. After all these are the people believing that we are here as a result of an ancient prehistoric germ that just happened to be there by an infinitely small chance. It's actually very relieving knowing that I'm not just an accident of nature.

If the universe is infinite, then given an infinite amount of time, how is it so hard to believe that it's possible at some point in time no matter how small the chances are?
