The killing in Iraq won't stop because they killed a figurehead .... can't believe the American and their Iraqi stooges are falling over themselves because of this while 6000 people has been reported dead so far this year at the Baghdad morgue.

Some new scumbag will take his place no doubt.

Nope - killing insurgent leaders is useful... there is only one Zarqawi to about another 1,000 insurgents - they are handy cannon-fodder - just useful target practice for Iraqi/US soldiers - but someone like that could plan and motivate/inspire.

who actually even knows he existed? any pics to prove it? what if he was a fabrication of a group of sunni insurgents who created this "legend" to confuse the enemy? anybody thought about that?

besides, there is no lack of figure heads that would gladly take his place in that mess of a "US liberation".

I'm glad they chose not to take him alive. They wouldn't have got jack for info from him, and the stupid douche would have caused twice as much damage releasing "statements" through the Red Crescent. I bet the Special Ops guys who lased the target are drowning in free beer right now.

The whole story is just such a joke. America invade Iraq on the premise of WMD with falicious links to Al Qaeda (who were never in Iraq before the invasion in any case), then change the story to regime change, kill an Al Qaeda leader and now rejoice? America caused Al Qaeda insurgence into Iraq in the first place.

So! is that not clever? Why fight them on your own soil, draw them out, corner them and kill them! Somewhere Else! Simple and effective. The rest of the world at least have some peace! and these fools in Iraq give enough data to lead the world to their International hide outs.

Maybe - she is a great polemicist... strangely enough when I lived in the States I would be considered a staunch right-winger (hence why I like Ann Coulter), but over here you call me a left-wing zealot... hehe...

:D The zealot thing was not my making. It was used flagrantly by some to hackle certain members with religious views. I never knew what it meant until I read the real meaning and stated that it is an honour to be a zealot for and on behalf of your G@D! The other action I took was to deliberately overdose all with the same description on other areas relating to the second part of the meaning. I am proud to see the use of the word to degrade the Threads and posters have all but diminished! :D Some tactics still work!:D
