Can anyone tell me when this phone will be coming to South Africa... is it in testing???
I dig my K750 but after a year now its old news... So i want to get this when it comes out....:D

K800i should be availabe in stores in MID July .Subject to network Approval.Dummy phones of K800i and POS have arrived in SA............P990 will be in stores by August
So if it passes testing mid-July.... SO we'll take it then as abt October :)
Tahir, I have just got an email from SE SA saying the K800i will be available end of Q3. Can you confirm your date is the correct one ? I have a few MTN contracts that may very well be cancelled and made into Vodacom ones if you get this phone before MTN does.

The K800 will be released end of the month as per Vodafone UK, we only getting it 2-3 months later;)

When the W900 was released, I called SE and they said it was freely available and they had supplied it to the networks. It took 6 weeks before I saw the first one given to a contract customer.
I called SE again 3 weeks ago to ask when their latest batch of phones will be released. I was told this included the K800 and the P990 and will be the end of July/first week in August.
To check with them directly, call 0861 632222.

There is a GLOBAL short supply on the SonyEricsson W900i because SE has a software problem with it.W900 will only be available when this problem is fixed

South Africa always gets SE phones 2-3 months after their European release. Taking that into account, we should get the K800 around late Aug/early Sep...the M600 should be available around late July/early Aug...it went on sale last week in some parts of Europe.

Not much mate, just lounging...hoping to get my grubby paws on a M600 before the year is out.:D
