Tens of thousands of wild animals face annihilation in a wave of land takeovers in southeastern Zimbabwe by politicians of President Robert Mugabe's party, a consortium of wildlife ranchers charged Sunday.

The Save Valley Conservancy said thousands of people's livelihoods also are threatened in the 1,000 square mile (2,600 square kilometer) nature preserve and surrounding districts after hunting permits and land leases were granted to 25 leaders of the ZANU-PF party under a black empowerment program.

This was to be expected, it's just the way things work here in the turd world, no one oppresses it's people like it's own race.

tourism was a big part in Zim, after that there is nothing left albeit some diamonds and tobacco and on the tobacco front all the forests are being chopped down to cure the stuff.

I am genuinely surprised there are any wild animals left in Zim. Not for long I guess. And in 5 years the evil West Imperial will be blamed again.
 
What are you talking about? It's going great in zim. There was white people at the Cricket!FFS. Its going briliantly. White Freaking people at the cricket!
 
I know there is heavy investment in the diamond mines and local's believe this will be the countries salvation.
Personal experience of someone from 4x4 community who is working there.

White people are not the endangered species they were referring to in this article.
