Apple injunction on Samsung devices gets December court hearing

3 months should be enough time for Samsung to "fix" a lot of the issues.
 
I am sorry but my opinion of Apple has hit an all time low. At one point I had an iPhone, and at one point I wanted a Macbook.

No more thanks. Can't wait until the Google vs Apple war starts. The Apple can get a taste of pathetic patent wars.
 
Like I said before, this may come back to bite Apple in a big way. If any single one of these "infringing devices" gets over turned in the appeals process, then Samsung is going to nail them with massive damages! :D We can only hope! ;)
 
What are the devices again? If I remember correctly, it's devices that are nearing end of life anyway. Can't remember seeing the S3 on there, and since the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is pretty much just a rehash of the first Galaxy Tab, I guess that's not infringing either. So which devices will Samsung actually lose out on?

Ja, it is mostly older devices, but some Cellular Carriers still have significant stocks of these older devices.
Samsung will have to pull that old stock and send it to a different country.
Then they should flood the market with cheap new stock of the newer devices! :D

The judge would be crazy to grant a ban on these devices, knowing that an appeal is coming from Samsung.
If she does, then you know that this case is not based on logic, but rather on hurting Samsung's sales in favour of Apple's.
(which is what we pretty much knew all along)
 
Thanks for the info, nice informative articles.
I also wonder if Apple can proof they lost sales due to these devices. Although there's a similarity between the Galaxy S/S2 and the iPhone, without sever cognitive disabilities, there is basically no way that you'd buy one thinking it's the other. And it's not as if the Samsung phones are cheaper, so if you got one, you probably wanted it for different reasons than "it looks and works like an iPhone".
