Maybe I'm the last to realise this but I must say that channel 27 is fantastic for this match in widescreen! It's the first thing I've seen on a DSTV broadcast in widescreen and for once my plasma is being put to good use while watching broadcast TV... now for the movie channels and dstv will rock... ;)

6-0 what a whipping! S&M are totally being outplayed.

It was more like a training game in the second half. Argentina couldve had 10!

And to think that S & M only conceded one goal in qualifying!!!

Europe's best defence in qualifiers put to the sword by the brilliant Argentines. It's overwhelming to think that the game was won in the first half without Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi, and Pablo Aimar (All touted as the new Maradona at one stage).

Pekerman has slowly built a real footballing team and the results are starting to show. Argentina must now be the favorites to win the trophy.

Indeed, Argentina look the best side in the tournament at the moment.

But let us wait until they play a really quality team, and then we can judge better.

Yeah - it's hard to say.

Serbia play a predictable European style game, but without the finer finishing touches of say, Germany or Holland. Against the flamboyant skill of Argentina, or Brazil, they don't stand a hope in hell.

They just don't have the players.
Germany and England do have the players, but it all depends on how well they play thier style of football - the no nonsense solid european approach, as opposed to the wilder, riskier, more emotional south american style.

Argentina and Brazil are obviously the strong favourites to win, but anything can happen.

Of course, I'm holding out for England, if they go (very likely), I'm hoping for Brazil to take it - I love thier passion for the game.

Its about time england had a bit of luck in a world cup. And no penalties!! I still have a good feeling :)
