Seems that while Rome burns the ministers on a Jolly in Mauritius, nice.

Asked why Motshekga did not visit the area yesterday, Basic Education Department spokesperson Panyaza Lesufi said: “We received information that the area is not safe for the minister. The situation is hostile.”

Lesufi said the ongoing protests to demand roads had prevented thousands of children from going to school and were aimed at causing anarchy.

At least 64 schools have been affected since June. However, in the past two weeks 24 schools have re-opened. At the same time two schools have been burnt down. Another two have been vandalised.

An estimated 16000 pupils have not been able to attend school for four months.

The minister is in Mauritius to attend the 18th Commonwealth conference of education ministers.

So in a couple years time we will have 16 000+ learners marching in Cape Town because they dont have Economic freedom.
 
What with the legacy of putt-hate and all that, it is a tja-lench! Hauw.
