The winner of this one goes on to meet the winner of the Brazil game.

Spain have looked good, as is often the case with them. France crawled out of their group really, but once they are past this game, everyone is in with a decent chance.

None of the knock-stages have been exciting (except of course the portugal - holland game). Hope this one rocks...and France loses.
 
I predict Spain to take it in extra time..i hope ghana beats brazil. We need some fresh teams to progress to the quarters but its not likely. Still behind ghana to win their match though
 
On current form i wouldnt back either of these guys against Brazil anyway.

But still, England would play them in the semis, if they get past Portugal, and its not like i would back them either :p
 
hj2k, in future could you please put the date and kickoff time of the match in your thread title or first post. Kickoff is at 8pm I think.
 
my bad. Missed the time on this one. Kickoff is at nine. Always post on the day of the games but i will put the dates in there from now on as well :)
 
Not fair, i started the first match thread but its ok..no dsl for me so wouldnt be able to moderate properly anyhow. :)

It might be good to have a young talented squad but experience counts as the French has shown. Watch out Brazil!

Spain once again fail to live up to expectations.

Out of the final 8, six are prevoius World Cup winners : England, Germany , France, Brazil, Italy and Argentina! :eek:

From the previous winners it should only be England, Germany, France, Brazil and Argentina. Cheaters don't deserve to make the top 8 :mad:
