I recently sent my month-old HTC One X in to MTN to have it replaced - it was giving many issues, including battery problems, unexpected shut-downs and connection issues. I know the phone is one-piece without a removable battery so I explicitly demanded that they replace it.
Today, after about three weeks of waiting, I received the old phone, marked repaired. It is also dirty and I have no idea what they actually did to the phone since it is not meant to be opened.
What do you think they did?
How do I get this phone actually replaced? Without losing access to my number for another month? (I have had to change to a micro sim so, while I wait, I have no cell phone at all!)
