Availability of Motorola Q or Blackberry 8700 [on Vodacom]

Can anybody from Vodacom confirm if and when the Motorola Q or Blackberry 8700 will be available from Vodacom. Have they been tested on the network yet?

BB 8700 is advertised on the Vodashop instore flyers as "coming soon" and some vendors are advertising it, but as yet no stock.

BTW - went to the vodacom shop in the Bridge in PE (shockingly bad service - obnoxious little douche bag was lucky I was in a hurry) and finally deciphered that it would be available early August.

Got the missus a new 7290 instead.

7290 V 4.0.2.35 (Platform 1.8.0.138)
8700v v4.1.0.319 (Platform 2.0.0.134)

This unit is still in test:

I have a Blackberry 8700 demo for sale, as new, on Vodacom, 2yr warranty, R 3 000

New price is R 4 000, contract upgrades can be done.

Pity - just picked up another 7290 - the other day - this one for the missus. Couldnt get more than umm's and ah's from the local vodacentre when it came to the 8700.
