These prices may look affordable in the local broadband environment,
it raises the question as to why they do not compete favorably on bandwidth rates when compared to services like iBurst and Mywireless.

If you have a car capable of 250 k/ph and they catch you breaking the speed limit you pay a fine. However you can travel as far as you like and can. There is no brick wall suddenly jumping up if you exceed 30kilometers distance. Your throttle works instantaneously.
Telkom:
Possible speed at least 8000 mbits / second
Telkom limits you to maximum 1024 mbits/second
Telkom actually only sometimes allow you to reach your Telkom limitation.
After 3 or whatever gigabyte Telkom cuts your access and you cannot even walk.
Telkom also puts measures in place to ensure that your throttle only reacts after 700 milliseconds(latency).
