Use *123*12# for MMS
*123*13# for GPRS

depending on how busy it is you should get the settings sent to your phone... sometimes you wait awhile.

MtN has the simplest and fastest setup amongst all the networks.

Assuming a new starter pack:
1. Dial 141 (you don't have to listen to the yakkety yak - just connect to activate your sim)
2. Enter *123# then press 'send' and follow the setup menu.
3. MMS settings will come soon
4. Wap settings take longer to arrive
5. You will also get an sms welcoming you to MtN pay-per-second or whatever.
6. Load airtime using 555 and following the menu. Then you can press * to go back to start of the menu and load a data bundle of R10 or R100.
7. Check your balance (and see if Pick'n'pay gave you the extra R10 :D )
8. Once you have all the settings DONT FORGET TO REBOOT PHONE - this is crucial on some handsets!
9. For your GPRS modem settings everything is blank. i.e. no pass/no user/no domain etc. The number is *99# but this seems to get overridden but whatever works for u.
10. Now Connect. Even if you don't have credit you can still CONNECT but you won't (usually ;) ) get the data. (With Vodaphone you cannot even connect)

Glad you like the simplicity

Hi Members. I have a NOKIA 6600 with a program called MMS EFFECT. I can't use the program because it needs the following settings in order for it to send mms:

1. MMSC Url
2. Proxy IP
3. Proxy Port

Thanks in advance
