SAB warns of 'free beer' scam

Nigerian money, impotence, enlargements are one thing but messing with beer is just plain wrong - may you rot in whatever hell your beliefs subscribe to.

I've already received this email from a friend, and yes he sent it to 10 other people and cc'd the email address quoted in the email.... cmon people, all those "send to 10 other people" emails are scams!

Heres the email:

As part of a joint advertising campaign the kind people at SAB (in
conjunction with Carst) are offering you 12 cases of your favorite SAB
beverage!

All you have to do is forward this email to 10 close friends and CC natalier(at)carst.co.za
and it will be logged.
A member of the Carst team will contact you within a week to organise
delivery of the beverage of your choice!

Please note that staff member's of Carst and SAB cannot apply for this
offer.

Please note, this is not another of the usual emails regarding free
offers, this one really works!
SAB wish to reward SA citizens for their continued support for South
African Breweries.

Mr Kevin Carst
MD Carst Enterprises

Become a SAB employee and you get free beer in the evenings at the pub.
(note this is employees only)
The downside is that alcholics need not apply, if you have a drinking problem you'll get fired if you're caught drunk on the job. :)

Best of all, if you go to carst.co.za it says that they import raw chemicals.

Yup, Carst and Walker, a reputable chemical commodity importer.

i recon these scams are someone's way of getting some back that pissed them off... you get ticked off, write a crap e-mail like that and add your new found ememy's e-mail address in as the 'contact'...and bob's your uncle. They will be flooded with mails!

How stupid can people really be if they think they're just going to be given 12 cases of beer for free.

The initiators of these DOS attacks and spammers in general need to be taken out and have their genitals removed with a butter knife.

All they do is steal money from legitimate email users.

With the spread of the latest spam botnets, I'm getting about 8 times more picture spam than useful email in the last two months or so, and that's just the bounce messages from the mail spoofed as originating from my domain!

A pox on people initiating such mails... it is irritating to receive such mails on a a
daily basis...

Wish people would check out the facts before they hit the send button...
