Hi there
I am sure this has been brought up before, but I cannot see anything quite relevant and hope someone can help.
I need some advice on buying a new router, mainly for ADSL, but capable of setting up a basic home network. Wifi capable would be great for smartphones. 2 Pcs (cable connection is fine), a laptop and smartphones.

Thank you!

Most wifi enabled adsl 4 port modems will do what you need to do.
I use the DGN2200 netgear and it is stable and i have never had problems with it .http://www.netgear.com/home/products/wirelessrouters/work-and-play/dgn2200.aspx
It runs 2 IP cameras (one wireless ) 2 PCs wired one laptop (wireless) , 2 smart phones and a smart TV with a micro server.
This modem/router is a little expensive.

Thanks FNfal, I see that its just over 1k from the online shops. I will "ask around".
But this looks perfect. I will compare to other makes in this class :D

Thank you Dr. I checked the links. I think I will go with the Netgear option on my Telkom account though.
