BUT i heard sumwhere that
cell C sms bnundles doesnt expire, and if this is the case i am sure i am switching. Anyway the 20 sms bundle cost R50 on pre paid voda, and R45 on contract
The nice thing with Cell C sms bundles is they carry over as long as you have airtime (i.e. you have not exceeded your expiry date on normal airtime)

Yeah. You can keep those SMS's as long as you want. With Vodacom, they basically force you to use it within 30 days.

I've been thinking it over to move to Cell C for quite a while now. Just waiting for my 2 year Vodacom contract to end. The only thing that Cell C lacks, is good signal in rural areas. Oh, and a better broadband service of course. ;)

You can always roam on Vodacom in rural areas. I think the major problem is service, or lack of it.

To check your remaining sms balance press *104#
I don't have a clue how to purchase bundles though. Maybe you should call customer care to find out.

Hi Sony 36 and GreatBigMouth
On prepaid our SMS "bundle" is voucher based and is available most retail outlets.
This voucher costs R39 and will give you 100 SMS messages. You can check your balance by typing *101#. This will give you a breakdown of your available airtime, your Bonus SMS messages (bought via a voucher) and your free SMS messages (the SMS messages awarded to you each month as part of our 777 promotion).
Cheers
