Yes they will definitely have to do something about the slowness, otherwise it will just not be worth visiting the site

Well they probably mean compared to what was there before, diginet. This is very affordable compared to that.. R20000pm etc.

And prices have dropped i geuss. Or they are just talkling crap because MWeb are their partners.

I dont find the site slow at all, must be optimised for Opera I geuss. Good move guys. Im on Iburst, is everyone finding the site slow.

this is a "whatever" story. seriously, Naspers have been trying for years to pull this off and failed every time. Subscriber based content on the internet hardly ever works - except if it's pr0n based
 
Regarding the slow speeds - with a total page size of 213KB it is bound to be slow. And the HTTP compression does not help too much.
