Speculation of significant AMD price reductions

Yeah, I have seen this crop up on many forums and blogs in the past few days, many claim that it is official, and others say it is purely a gimmik to make people watch AMD instead of Intel.

I personally would love the price reductions :D
Luckily AMD is not run, or associated with government or telkom, then the reduction would be "Imminent" and nothing would happen :p
 
tis better b becuase me dads going to the states in couple of weeks..
gonna try get him to get me like 5 or so of the Athlon64 X2-5000+ Socket AM2 process .. if they gonna go for $282 that like R1600 buck ;) ;)
