Iburst connects and opens 1 page for about 3 mins

After installing XP SP2 and IE 7.0 my iburst connection connects, opens up a web page but then fails to make any other connections to web pages although the iburst connection stays active.

Any ideas?

I am using the old desktop modem.
 
Yup, you had to install IE 7, didn't you? :D

Seriously, I had problems with IE7 Beta 1 - had to reinstall Windows to restore Balance to the Force... I don't think I'll be going back to it any time soon.
 
Is there any way to roll back, Maybe I can install Firefox, hopefully that can resolve this issue, I'll try a firmware upgrade on my iburst modem first though.
 
I don't understand...why did you install IE? Or rather why are you using IE?? You should use firefox anyway even if you have IE. I don't think the problem is in any way related to the Iburst connection. It's that crap thing called IE on your system.
