New Sims Info

Hi Piesang,

It is extremely difficult to get hold of these guys, I am unable to get through to them on the numbers that were given to me, I have resulted in looking up there information on our systems ( if they are not anonymous ) nd e-mailing them, if any of them are able to give you more information than just their cell number that would be great.

I'm not just saying this. And I really hope the same will happen to you guys.

Carmen told me the Thursday morning that I will receive me sim on Friday afternoon. And on Friday, exactly 12:00 the courier people delivered it to my door.

I really think this must cost them a fortune to give everyone new sim cards and courier it to us. They really need a big thank you.:D :D

You keep the old card. The new one is only for the data card.

So it stays in thedatacard all the time - cool. And I presume i can transfer airtime from the old card to the new card.

That is still something I'm trying to figure out. I cant see why they wont be able to transfer your airtime from one sim to another.

In my case I'm with FNB, currently they only have Vodacom , MTN and Cell-C in the list ...

You can buy airtime through ABSA internet banking. I think it depends on the banks.

MobileData answered the question for you. Like he said, you can by airtime through ABSA. That was available since the day Virgin Mobile was launched.

I think the best will be to contact your bank regarding this subject as I think that all depends on them.

I may be wrong, but as far as I can remember the same thing happened with Cell-C when they launched. Airtime was available through ABSA internet banking first as well. But like I said, I could be wrong.
