Cell C GPRS/EDGE network maintenance 26 July

Hi All

Maintenance has been scheduled for the Cell C GPRS/EDGE network tonight. During the maintenance the GPRS/EDGE network will not be available.

The times for the maintenance are as follows:
1) between 23:59 on 26 July and 04:00 on 27 July.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused during this period. Please note that Cell C's voice services will not be affected by this downtime.

That means that Virgin Mobile will also be affected?
 
Great to have the communication!
It really helps to know when something like this is planned.
Its 1:45pm on the 28th right now and I still have zero access to GPRS/EDGE - anyone else able to access at this stage?

...geez I really hope this downtime will result in a hassle free rendering of services paid for in the NEAR future...?

Well, Virgin Mobile GPRS is working perfectly.:rolleyes:
 
Running my I-Mate Jasjar with the 64k Virgin Mobile sim. Browsing the internet without any problems.

Fast and reliable. Can't wait for the new sims to get sorted.
 
Ok sorry, my bad. :o I just made that quick phone call without even having to pick up and now everything seems to work perfectly. :D
