Hi MTNDD & V3G,
I know this is not really broadband but I hope you can help anyway.
Yesterday, Wednesday 26/7, there was a few hours when I as a MTN subscriber couldn't send MMS's to Vodacom. MTN to MTN worked. Couldn't test Voda to MTN.
Then, after that and today, I have been getting corrupted images when sending MMSs, although of the 5 phones I tested, only 2 produced non-corrupted images. They were all Nokias of different models and on different networks.
SO, I was wondering was there any upgrade to the Vodacom or MTN MMS sytem yesterday which is resulting in these corrupt images?
By corrupt, I mean that although the image can be seen, if you try to open up in a graphics program, it complains about "Corrupt JPEG data: 149 extraneous bytes before marker 0xd9 EXIF data will be ignored" and this just buggers up my application which has been working for the past 6 months
If you have no idea about the MMS system, could you please give me the contact details of someone I can talk to?
Many thanks
