Landis gives positive drugs test

Jan Ulrich tested postive for some or other drug/steroid the day before the tour started. Last year, he was labeled as one of the favourites after Lance retired.
 
Lance had no balls - Floyd has extra big ones (my testosterone is all natural!)

You know - somebody is going to find a drug one day that will be 'invisible' to the drug authorities and then everyone will ride super fast times!! :D

I don't know about Landis - he's come out strongly against being accused as a drug user (this could be lip-service) but the question should remain:

Why did he only test positive on the 17th stage when he was negative on the previous 3 occasions where he wore the yellow jersey? A drug can't enhance his performance in a few days can it?

I watched with amazement Landis's ride to morzine and also really hope that this test is due to an abnormal endocine system but the odds are against it.

Testosterone particularly aids muscle recovery - so it would make perfect sense that he had not used it until that day he lost 10 mins, then needed a "quick fix" to cure exhausted muscles. He just over did it and pushed the level beyond the accepted 4:1 testosterone/epitestosterone level.
