Hi Guys

So we have a issue at work where someone is connecting to the wireless and downloading non stop. The problem is we have 12 sites with wireless and it is difficult to pinpoint who it is. I have changed the passwords on the access points but they somehow get it again. What would be the best solution to manage and restrict access?
I was thinking of setting up something similar to the systems used at wifi hotspots. Any suggestions?

Are the sites independant of each other, or do they come together at a central point ? If so you could install something at the central point to monitor and report on usage.

Not sure what routers your running but WPS has also been compromised so best turn that off if the router supports it.

The best way is to get a Mikrotik router and use it as your internet gateway. You'll soon see which IP address is using all your bandwidth and put a stop to it.

We have a mig in place with a proxy that monitors all usage , using cisco AP's. Everything meets at a central point.
I will look into turning WPS off, thanks!

+1 on the Mikrotik router they not that expensive.

Also a suggestion is enable MAC filtering on the wireless.
