Well we run a small/medium enterprise, have never heard of this "SMME Forum", and find our telecommunications costs almost crippling. We strongly support MyADSL's efforts to bring about a more equitable telecoms cost structure in SA. This "SMME Forum" can go suck eggs, and maybe some other things.
 
80% of the poor people in this country can't afford a fixed line, so I don't know how they're all signing up for Closer and Supreme Call.

I think it is best to keep the two threads separate for as the one will receive comments specifically related to the press statement and the other related to the points made in the article. Maybe merge them a few days from now?

RPM, I find this a shocking statement that they could accuse other forums and sites of something they obviously have no clue about.

The SMME needs to catch a wake up and i personally believe we need to demonstrate that we will not stand for this kind of @#%#% in this country......This was a deliberate attempt to attack other sites and forums and i believe that we need to address this promptly and firmly.

Arnt there legal implications to what they have said about the mentioned sites?

If so i suggest we start some form of legal action.... i cant stand ppl that just talk and chirp and pull down ppl that are trying to do something decent.

If only i had an email addy of the person responsible i would let him know where his place is.

Might be a plan to put up his email addy and we "lecture-room-based entity that is only concerned about the plight of the privileged few" can tell him what he needs to konw.

Whether he was paid off or not that doesnt justify this response.

What a bunch of idiots. They dont even represent the small/medium businesses that they supposedly speak on behalf.. Bunch of gay, corrupt, stupid ....... did i mention corrupt? FFS

Why don't u just divulge how many Telkom shares u own and profiting from it? you replied to me saying I was out of order when I was joking abt u being bribed. well..Now I'm not joking. I don't understand what ur forum stands for.

Let telkom rip all of us off. U think we stand just for the priviledged few? We stand for all and help everyone in this forum regardless if it is Telkom or not. We just don't like getting ripped off. If we feel ripped off then what about the community who have nothing and have no voice. At least we make a stand unlike the crap u've been saying lately.
 
We are not the politicians here

We (MyADSL subscribers / readers) are the people. So they are snubbing the public with their attitude. In fact... as for the elite few attitude - WE float Telkom's ADSL boat. Since no-one else can afford it right now due to no fault of ours.

so... who didn't they criticise but themselves? They criticised Telkom, ISPA, government, Myadsl, etc. etc.
Sounds like time for a prozac prescription.

The sudden change in attitude from being vocally active against Telkom and now criticizing anybody who has done the same is very unnerving. This sudden turnaround suggests that the SMME forum's loyalty has been bought by Telkom, and truly they've become like Telkom (which don't really care about the needs of the people of SA but rather exploit them when needed). A really sad day when your values can be bought out. :(

Okay okay.. hehe...Although it sounds VERY dubious and SMME forum look as as corrupt as anything, Wait for Khaas to infact agree that he endorses this article before we chop his head off...

Khaas we waiting anytime you feel like dropping in with a comment feel free to do so :D
