"DesktopLinux.com is reporting that four countries have together ordered 4 million low-cost, Linux-based laptops from the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project. The countries of Nigeria, Brazil, Argentina, and Thailand have each placed the 1 million unit orders."

NIGERIA getting 1 million laptops. Why hasn't our Gov done something like this? Oh WAIT.. people might get educated.

Good idea these laptops, in SA they would probably get stolen though and sold to countries in the North.

hrm those laptops + wifi municipalities are rolling out = no where to hide soon and perhaps a surge in community sites? wait do they come with wifi? SA can do with it.
