ok finished now.

ok, what I pay ~ R2300 every month for will cost you around R200 in the UK and around R350 in Thailand, just so there's no confusion amongst the people that might read this thread

Call me an ungrateful bastard, but screw you, Telkom.

I want my 192k ADSL back with a 24% price reduction. ktxbye.

ok, let me add this too, I waited 45 days for my new ADSL instalation (moved to a new house) - 2 times a Telkom techie phoned me and told me to wait for him and twice he simply didn't show up

Then I spoke to about three people as to find out if this was a brand new game brought to you by Telkom, was given the supervisor's tel number wich was for some reason in Cape Town and nobody answered that number no matter how many times I tried

“If one considers inflationary pressures, in real terms there is a price drop of 5.6%. This indicates Telkom’s ongoing commitment to providing affordable access to telephony for all our customers.”
Yah but when your gross profit is already way over 100% can you REALLY make this statement?

as long as

as long as they are paying 9-30 euros in europe
forget it price is price and we're
still getting RIPPED OFF

Not only has the ADSL Installation fee increased, but what used to be [and still should be] free of charge - [post=614069]ADSL Self Installation - the beast is now advertising that it wants to charge customers for installing their own ADSL modem|router...[/post]

Oh and Telkodemonopolies has decided that 14% VAT is simply not enough for ADSL Self Installations - it will be charging an additional "up yours you dumb customer" tax on top of the normal 14% VAT...

Telkodemonopolies should not be pointing fingers at anyone's mathematics except its own lack thereof...
