Hardcore pornography was the last thing Jacob Zuma expected from the state.

But among four million documents provided to the former deputy president in preparation for his coming fraud and corruption trial, his lawyers and those for co-accused French arms company Thint say they were "shocked" and "traumatised" to find 15 pornographic images.

Zuma said in papers filed at the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Monday that his lawyers had "not yet fathomed" the relevance of the pornography, which he says was found on a "computer hard drive in a virus-riddled format" handed over by the state on May 6.

virus riddled format? as a computer geek, what am I to make of that statement that seems to make no sense whatsoever???????
 
They propably meant that he was surfing pron sites, and got a lot of pron dailers and such other usefull proggies for free. They might want to chech his browser cache aswell :)

Just put the HDD under the shower. That what the State did. Apparantly it worked - Zuma has porn on his PC (oh dear, dear, dear).

Well there is a rule of thumb when it comes to FREE porn. Free Porn = Free Virus
 
Sad thing is that this was on the hard drive with all the state's evidence that was given to Zuma. So the prosecutors have too much porn. Doesn't leave a lot of hope for the trial.

I must say that I'm kind of curious what kind of porn can "shock" and "traumatise" those lot :eek::D

One can only wonder how much 'porn' was found in the HDDs the Scorpions found, oh yes they had to give it back

Thats BS, I have over 10 gig of free porn downloaded with no viruses :p

As to the whole "traumatised" thing, virginal wimps (maybe if it was extreme hardcore, since hardcore is anything showing the genitals basically, except if its just a naked lady by herself)....
 
Roffel. the only reason the lawyers are traumatised is to go for the expensive psych counseling on what to do with all the money they are going to make off the case.

At one stage, while investigators where searching through Mahomed's home, she joked with them that she would not be responsible for any pornographic material found in her son's room.

Mahomed = Julie Mahomed, Zuma's attorney.
 
NPA explains porn mystery

There is no dark mystery behind the hardcore pornography sent to former deputy president Jacob Zuma by the State as part of the preparation for his upcoming fraud and corruption trial, says the National Prosecuting Authority.

NPA spokesperson Makhosini Nkosi said on Wednesday that the pornography was contained in hard drives seized by the Scorpions in raids on various premises in 2001.

When lawyers for Zuma and his co-accused, French arms company Thint, asked for relevant documentation and material for the trial, the prosecution team sent copies of all they had relating to the case without screening or editing it, said Nkosi.
