I posted this in OT this morning and i see its already passed its sell-by date and no replies....thanx guys
Unless of course bwana V.13's deeply profound remark

Could i ask for help? (only printable replies if any please haha)
Since yesterday morning I havent been able to access the usual trivia rooms via searchirc and yet my Nortons settings say that Java IS enabled
I Can play in star using Java so... weird stuff.
This morning I try again and manage to access the efnet Trivia room for about 5 minutes and am disconnected from their server. This is what I find in Nortons Logs:
in Firewall logs this morning?
Rule "Default Block Microsoft Windows 2000 SMB" blocked (41.208.204.22,microsoft-ds(445))
Inbound TCP connection
Local address,service is (PENTIUM4(196.2.109.194),microsoft-ds(445))
Remote address,service is (41.208.204.22,4303)
Process name is "System"
and under the System logs:
Firewall setting "<Invalid String ID>" changed
Old Value: 1
New Value: 0
and Intrusion Detection:

Click on the address to trace the attacker
You can get detailed information about this attack at Symantec Security Response
and Nortons Connections just after being disconnected from Trivia:
