Free software from Absa to protect against identity theft

I've downloaded this s/ware from ABSA and am using it for about a year now (with regular updates). It's quiet nifty and effective I must say. You'll be suprised how much junk (spyware/viruses) gets secrectly put on your pc while surfing and/or downloading stuff off the internet.
 
I downloaded version 2006 from Trends website last year when it was released and the key ABSA supplied worked fine, even though the version they supplied was for 2005. So I'll wait for 2007 to be released and see if it is still applicable.
 
Ye, i know that, but do they mail it to you, send if via carrier pigion or go pick up a cd at a absa branch.
Can't seem to find anything on there site...gggrrr there sites fustratin!

Remember, it is only for Internet banking customers, so you get it from http://www.absadirect.co.za on the right-hand of the page under Antivirus Software. You have to log in with your IB userid and password.
 
On their site it says that you can get the cd's from any of the branches from the 15 August 2006. I wonder whether you're gonna need to show some sort of proof of using their internet banking or just proof of an account.
 
It's useless to get the CD from the branch, you still have to get the key from the website. Besides, they will probably give your last year or even the previous years CD! And yes, they check on their system if you're registered for IB.
