lol for the same price he may as well then drive to the person he wants to speak to, those JASJAR phones cost more than a top-end laptop!spiderz said:Get urself one of these imates with skype loaded![]()
You'd be surprised at how many 'non-tech-savy' people I know who use this (I personally don't - phone is too old), and if they can't do it then they get someone else to set it up for them, and they figure it out very quickly ...kaspaas said:Few people are well enough technically clued up to manage this.

The point that needs discussion is why aren't the Cell Operators deducing theirs SMS/MMS tariffs? How much can it possible cost to relay a couple of text characters across the network? 80c?? That's INSANE. It should be around 1-5c, if not completely free!
If you think the cell companies make big bucks over Christmas and New-Year, you have no idea how much these new games on DStv Channel 45 makes.
You have to send SMS's indicating your moves/actions, at R2 a message. It takes AT LEAST 2 SMS's to make the initial move/action and an average of 4 to finish the game. That’s R12 a shot and you can have a look, people are playing ALL THE TIME.

This does not seem to be correct. The GSM standard states that an SMS is 140 bytes (160 characters compressed). Assuming an SMS is 50c (avg. between peak/offpeak), i get the following calculation:
(1048576 bytes / 140 bytes) * R0.50 = R3745 per MB
What do you think? Please correct me if i'm wrong.
Depends on how Agile is set up on the other side, the default is that it plays automaticly. When you send a voice message to someone on a PC it sends a link to a web page where you can listen to the message.henno said:Sounds cool. What happens at the other end? (when the message arrives)
