Comon ppl. now thats just being negative for no reason whatsoever.Give them a chance before you start judging them i mean, they havent even offered a single service yet. And its alot harder for them to set up their infrastructure than virgin for example cos they have to invest like R8 billion rand. The main shareholder is from a country that offers one of the most cheapest broadband services in the world and they have access to more than 2 undersea cables...In this country, companies are all about talk, marketing etc. and saying that they care about the customers, and all the rest of bs. Atleast this company is keeping its mouth shut and not making any promises it cant keep....
Let it launch before you crucify the company...

Sheesh, good to hear that they still are around, even if it's PR. They should at least start a good relationship with the media and various ways of keeping in touch with the consumers.

Ye they own capacity on those cables but they dont own landing rights, telkom does. No other company is allowed to touch any cable coming into SA. Until this changes the future looks bleek.

well im hoping that in june next year the landing rights will be available..
I think it will with all the signs from government
 
Like most people, I've adopted the 'wait and see' 'cautiously optimistic' attitude.

I thought SNOT was supposed to be launching middle this year? Thie year is fast drawing to a close... just a couple more months and then it is the silly season :(

Maybe we can have some competition by christmas? Probably not :mad:
 
There's going to be a PS3 before there's a SNO. :eek:

I agree, let us not forget that at this point in time they haven't made any promises yet and they have warned consumers to be realistic saying that it will take them a while to even start competing against Telkom. For all intents and purposes they have started operations by trying to secure long term contracts with big businesses, which is what they said they would do before household consumers.
