Hey Spamhater,

Click here (http://www2.inmail24.com/SettingClient.htm) and follow those instructions, just adapt them to what you need to fill in for the Nokia.

Shout if you don't come right.

Check your GPRS/3G/Whatever data settings, make sure that it uses the internet to connect.

General Rule of Thumb: Make sure you can browse the web on your phone first. [i.e. WAP/GPRS to say nokia's website]. Only then can you begin to wonder about your email settings.

I don't know inmail24 though, if it's a free webmail service make sure you CAN actually pop3 to it [most free webmail services do NOT provide free pop3/smtp connectivity]. ..Although Gmail is the exception here ;)

EDIT: The link rasputyn posted shows the settings, so i assume it does have pop3 :

Second step, make your pop3 email work on your desktop FIRST [in Outlook Express or something]. Alot of the time the settings simply doesn't work [username+password thing usually] , and then you sit there thinking it's your phone's GPRS/email/wap settings....

Hi Anthony, I have the a SP3i and MMS works like a dream now but I also had a problem, here is how to fix it... go to "start / configurations / mms settings", make sure that "secure wap network" is selected under "connect via", if that is fine then you are done there, now go to "start - settings - more - data connections", then go to "menu - edit connections - gprs connections - mtn sa mms", make sure that the "access point" is "myMTN" (note: it's case sensitive), all should work if all of that is correct!! oh and, with all of this I assumed that you installed the MTN gprs settings *.cab file. Let me know if the problem presists...

I enter all the fields correct but i get a message that it dont want to connect to the server.

For incoming server use you inmail24 server settings ... for ourgoing mail server use you cellular server provider setting ... eg.g. if you vodacom use smtp.vodacom.co.za ... or is it vodacom.smtp.co.za
