Damm I wish XP had something like that as it seems like a rather nifty feature to have.

Interestingly Apple did not develop this all by themselves ... the guts of it is based on open source code ... no not Linux or BSD stuff but rather Sun Solaris ZFS (Zettabyte File System).

Nice idea... but even 2 drives will be a problem if your one is 75% full. Can only back that up once more with 2 drives...

Only one secure backup - off-site.

Timemachine can back up to a remote server i.e your .Mac account

Tibby, yes it can, but with our beautiful broadband, imagine backing up 1TB online ;) have fun :P
