PLZ help.P2p dead...can't seemed to portforward

Hi...1st post here.Sorry that it had to be a problem.

I installed a 384 wireless uncapped internet last week.I live in a remote area and it's with a local company.They refuse to tell me what type of connection it is.They also told me a don't have a router but a bridge.

Please explain me what's the diff and how do i port forward with this setup,because the speed is fine but p2p and torrents stay on 2kB/s.Also shows a NAT error.
After a bit of googling it seems that's a wifi connection(802.11b) and the router/bridge might be a mikrotek with routerOs.It's on the roof.

I really wants this to work(my signal is really strong and speed is most of the time above 384) but if i can't i still have 7 days to cancel it.I still have my adsl line. Connection is shaped but my adsl shaped line gives much better speeds.

please help...
 
You cant.
They're doing the NAT on their routers. You're getting a private IP address from them.
They have to do the port forward for you.

Biggie - Welcome to the forum

as daffy said you probably cant because your connect is already NATted so port forwarding will not help.

if you are getting your full speed on http downloads and the WISP is running MikroTik, chances are they are blocking/limiting P2P.

see what their policies are for p2p. if you dont like their policy or service change... simple

Yes p2p is on their lowest priority,but i would've thought it will at least give me a p2p speed faster than dialup.

To change is quite a problem here.No iburst or sentech coverage.Ironically my 384 spaped adsl line gives me virtually unshaped speed on p2p(25-30kB/s) all the time,and around 55kB on http with no problems.If it wasn't for the damn expensive bandwidt i really would be a satisfied telkom customer.
