Vodacom Shared Talk 1500 will allow 11 people to share a single airtime, SMS and data bundle.

1. WHAT IS SHARED TALK 1500?
Shared Talk 1500 is a new contract package that allows 11 people to share a single airtime, SMS and data bundle - 1500 mins, 1000 SMS’s, 1 GB data.
2. WHICH KIND OF CUSTOMERS SHOULD CONSIDER THE SHARED TALK 1500?
Small businesses spending between R2000 - R6000 per month on voice and data should consider the Share 1500.
3. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE PART OF SHARED TALK 1500?
11 people can be a part of the Shared Talk 1500 (1 primary account holder + 10 associates).
4. WHO IS OBLIGATED (RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING) TO PAY THE BILL?
The primary contract holder will be responsible for the payment of the bill.
5. WHAT DOES THE SHARED TALK 1500 COST?
The subscription of the Shared Talk 1500 is R2965-00 per month plus an additional R99-00 per month per member added into the group.
6. HOW CAN I GET ONTO THE SHARED TALK 1500?
The primary contract holder needs to authorise the Service Provider and an airtime contract needs to be filled out, there after the standard credit vetting process applies.
7. WHAT IS THE CONTRACT PERIOD AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The contract is for a 24 month period from the date of activation eg, the primary contract holder is in his 3rd month of the contract and a new member is added, that member will start his 24 months from the date of his activation.
8. HOW WILL THE MONTHLY BILL LOOK?
The primary contract holder will be invoiced and presented with the MSISDNs and amount for the entire group (subscription and usage). The itemised billing will however be sent to the individual contract holders within the group.
9. CAN I MIGRATE WHEN ON THE SHARED TALK 1500?
Subscribers have the option to migrate from the group to another contract package. The primary contract holder will not be able to migrate out of the group whilst there are associates in the group.
10. CAN I UPGRADE WHEN ON THE SHARED TALK 1500?
The normal upgrade process applies.
11. ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THE SHARED TALK 1500?
The following services are not permitted:
• Twincall
• Vodacom Data SIM
• Call Sponsor
• Airtime Transfer
12. WHAT WILL HAPPEN SHOULD THE PRIMARY CONTRACT HOLDER DEFAULT ON PAYMENT?
The primary contract holder is responsible for the payment of the monthly bills and should he/she default, all the MSISDNs linked to the account will be locked.
13. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN SHOULD ACTIVATION TAKE PLACE ON ANY OTHER DAY THAN THE 1ST OF THE MONTH?
The bundles will be pro-rated.
14. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO TOP UP CUSTOMERS JOINING THE GROUP?
Top Up subscribers migrating to Vodacom Shared Talk 1500 group will lose Top Up functionality and any accumulated minutes.
15. WILL I BE ALLOWED ROAMING AND INTERNATIONAL DIALLING?
Yes you will be, provided that the primary account holder requests it.
16. WILL THE USE OF BLACKBERRY BE ALLOWED?
Yes, each individual SIM must be provisioned with the service if requested by the primary account holder. Provisioning is SIM and IMEI dependant and subscribers in the group will not be able to share a BlackBerry handset.
17. WILL THE USE OF VODAFONE LIVE! BE ALLOWED?
Vodafone live! bundle consumption will be restricted to the subscriber that purchased the bundle (MSISDN and handset dependant).
