Cape Town - Official opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) chief whip Douglas Gibson said it was remarkable that the South African parliament was able to debate the Middle East situation at a drop of a hat - and Intelligence Minister Ronnie Kasrils and Independent Democrats (ID) leader Patricia de Lille could call for sanctions against Israel - but there was no debate about the report of parliament's election observer mission to the troubled Zimbabwe.

He said: "People are rightly horrified at the appalling tragedy of Qana, and Mr Kasrils and the Honourable De Lille call for sanctions against Israel. But they stay silent about 700 000 victims of Operation Murambatsvina - Operation clear up the Trash - in Zimbabwe. Why no demonstrations and why no sanctions there?"

Gibson said: "The world was shocked at the loss of life in the 34 days of the war, with 1 110 killed. In those 34 days in South Africa 1 750 people were murdered, at a rate of 51 per day

It seems Mr Gibson reads that blog [saiscrap] religiously as he's raising issues the RR brought up around 1 week ago.
 
So when do we get a state of emergency declared?
 
Typical of these ANC @ssholes and supporters to flame, blame and stand up against Israel but yet in their own country with their own People death as criminal acts is disregarded and accepted as the norm. That excludes raping and abuse towards children. What a bunch of hypocrites these Kasrils and ANC Zealots are! Damn wicked I would say. Must be in the genes! Damn @ssholes
 
The myth

ANC Today will make an important contribution towards filling the void of the voicelessness of millions of people, that is a direct legacy of more than three hundred years of colonialism and apartheid.
I hope that the journal will make a special effort to ensure that the news and views the masses of our people are denied reach them.
Of special importance, the people must be informed of the progress we are making with regard to the social transformation of our country and continent, the obstacles and opposition we have to overcome and our programmes to achieve further progress.
The world of ideas is also a world of struggle.
ANC Today must be a combatant for the truth, for the liberation of the minds of our people, for the eradication of the colonial and apartheid legacy, for democracy, non-racism, non-sexism, prosperity and progress.
The struggle continues! Victory is certain!

As normal a typical respose from a pro ANC zealot. Problem is that if we all leave you and your sh@t country is even more Fcucked as it already is by your attitude and doing. Only problem if I take a plane one of your friends is bound to blow it up! Only pray you do not become a victim of your own convictions. I will not, maybe only end up as an statistic due to You and your propers!

Fact is. Tibby must be feeling really sh@t to see and realise what he has become a part of. Prove of that is the change of tone on this forum. The ANC and its supporters must be sick to the stomach to realise they, as predicted, like the rest of Africa cannot run or control a country. Not even the inherited rich and mighty South Africa. We will end like the rest of Africa. A remembrance in future history. What they can do well is the actions Zuma portrayed and the other "good" riches we read about in the daily papers! Like with violence it must be all in the makeup, although Tibby tried his best to convince me otherwise. The Internet had the final say! Proof of the pudding is the conditions in Africa, especially where there was no apartheid to blame, but then there is at least colonialism! That's the backdoor excuse for intellectual defeat!
