Bush Bucks' Players Beg In Street

I read in the M&G that Pirates players earn R7 000pm. I find that hard to believe (too low), but that is for one of the league's top teams.

I'm not sure, but for the smaller teams it's very low. Players are not respected enough even though they are the ones bringing money into the game.
 
a couple of years ago i saw some interview with a local player that got injured a while back and got dropped by his club and was struggling to pay his finances.. he was suing the club etc.. but he was earning over R10000 per month, and he was playing for Golden Arrows which is one of the smaller sides. There are a lot of premier league players driving around in SUV's so they definately are earning more than that..
 
probably.. but is the gulf that big between the psl clubs and the golden league clubs? there is some club in the golden league that is offering psl players from clubs like Sundowns and Supersport 'huge salaries' to join them.. so there is obviously money floating around
