Of course this will just cause Vodacom to rejigger their advertising campaign ("Lowest call rates to non-friends" or some other such BS) instead of actually trying to lower rates.

This makes me wonder how much Vodacom is making on calls, sms, GPRS/3G if Virgin can offer 50c/MB for example and still make a profit
 
they all making a fortune! they not in the biz to make friends....
