Neotel gives Telkom taste of competition

It's going to be a long and slow process to prove themselves (I really hope they do), but they have a heck of a lot of potential business just because of the greedy b@stards Telkom are.

Is that so...

"Vodacom and MTN are also routing some of their international calls over Neotel’s bandwidth."

Wonder how long this has been going on - can't say I've seen prices go down in any way?

Go go power Neotel. I'm hoping they'll get their stuff together and start performing soon. Then we can all benefit majorly.

Think back a little to the Mobile Data price cuts, vioce costs and the entrance of Virgin Mobile into the arena. All most likely due to the offering of lower prices from Neotel.

Well BIG thumps up for Neotel as they refer back to Mybroadband.co.za!!!... Allready makes me think that Neotel is listening to the Consumers, and not thinking with their pockets first!. - Doubt Telkom has ever done that!.

cant agree more. Telkom would never refer to mybroadband.co.za

Just a thought...

NEOtel is going to be the supposed saviour of telecoms in SA, just as NEO was a saviour in the Matrix movies... just a thought...

I'm very excited though, can't wait for the day I phone telskum and say "CANCEL THE ACCOUNT!"

telscum refers to mybroadband quite often:
"a small group of dissatisfied customers"
"...even our harshest critics agree"

etc.

At the long-awaited launch in Midrand, Pandey paraded the first customers on stage, saying Neotel would be nothing without its clients.

Somehow I doubt you'd ever hear that from Telkom!
