On one farm, the house and office is 15km apart. There is little signal at the office and No signal at the house (with or without antenna), and they are connected together via wireless (icasa approved) and in legal boundaries.

They want to be able to use there cell phones at the house. Is it possible to transmit the signal over LAN and a repeater box at the other side?

i seriously doubt it!

i suggest you contact your network (MTN/Vodacom) and let them know you do not have access. quite often they can just make a small ajustment to their antenna setup to give you coverage.

This can be done, sort of, by using a cell router and some free software. For a howto or more info mail me @ <vaughanh at gmail dot com>
