So which one would you guys take? Im not sure! They both have more or less the same features. The N80's got bigger screen and wifi. But the SE has a better battery life plus a neat camera. WHAT DO I DO?!!?

you'll get over short battery life one day....just charge your phone every night before you go to sleep...:) i havent seen the k800 in real life, but i have seen the n80 in action....i would go for the N80 (:D plus the wifi means free mxit in your house if you have wireless lan :D)

The quoted battery life means ****. Both phones will only last a day with average use...

ya thats wat i found out the hard way a long time ago....by buying a phone wit supposedly better battery life....i regret it....:D

i got the k800i and I bought my sister the N80 a day later... played with both of em alot ...

- K800i has a better camera (it very good, even in complete darkness)
- K800i has a better screen, very bright and the contrast is gr8
- K800i software after flashing it is alot smoother than the N80s (removing all the vodafone ****)
- K800i has a really "slick" interface ...
- Battery life on K800i is alot better than N80
- N80 interface a bit slow ...
- I put new themes on the N80 and i cant delete them

- N80 is smaller and sexier (k800i does not look as good with the vodafone branded ****)
- Has more features than the K800i, like the WiFi, UPnP (dunno if u will use any of it)
- Comes with a 128mb SD card, the K800i of the vodafone type does not come with any memory stick :(
- Feel the N80 has a better reception than the K800i, N80 has better reception for 3G than the K800i (both phones are vodacom)

honestly they both gr8 phones ... i would go for the K800i (if you can get a nonbranded one that will be gr8), simply because it just works better and i really dont need a fully fledged business phone (id get a P990i or imate or the likes if i needed a true business phone)

It is really down to choice, the N80 is plagued with small issues , like slow menu interface which shud be sorted with a firmware upgrade ... but it aint all bad for the N80 ... they both stunnnig phones and which ever choice you make it will be a gr8 phone ... seriuosly .... the N80 seems the more powerful phone ... but the k800i is better built in terms of hardware nd the software side of things ...

I got my N80 for 3 months now. I get great battery life from my phone about 5 days.I was always a Nokia person,There are much more features on the N80 than the K800i and there are tons of software for the N80,themes,games,etc.I'll go for the Nokia N80.I am not saying SE K800i is not a good handset.

Thats what i was thinking. Ive had other brand phones, and i wasnt happy with any of them. I must admit the newer SE's are way better than the older ones. My gf's got the w800i, its damn nice. Best camera ive seen on a cellphone. But on the other hand, i wont be using the camera all that much. The important thing i must remember is, i will be played out with the phone within a month....no matter which one i pick.

Good luck:confused:

There was a review done of the 2 phones where they specifically compare the cameras on the 2 phones. Check it out and make up your own mind ;)

AFAIK the N80 is not Vodafone / VLive branded on the Vodacom network.

How long on average does the battery last on the K800, mine is only lasting about 3 days(72 hours) with minimal use, and I mean minimal use. At most I made 10 min of calls and 20 min browsing the net and about 1 hour just messing around. What's the chances I've got a dud battery?

Well I am getting that much time out of my battery life.I have two phones so my N80 is mainly used for data on the net, very little voice calls and some sms.Well Believe it or Not?

Want a cookie? :D

That is long, longest yet I have heard from anyone. So, congratulations is in order. :D
Inform Nokia they can adjust the figures on their site for the phone's max battery life ;)

guess u hardly using the phone then, so its unfair to quote the 5 days, cause that aint normal use ... the most my sister got out of the n80 thus far is 2 days, with very little use, radio, very little calls, the odd sms ...

Ye, I get 2 days with minimal use (talking 3G off, Bluetooth off) but usually one day with a couple of sms's, usual few phonecalls...

Battery life is a difficult thing to compare due to usage, but I have the n80 and I played music and movies often(on loud), did file transfers, and made and received calls. Been using it alot and the battery lasted 3 days. Which I think is rather good.

Saw a lot of user reported on K800i at overseas (HongKong) forum about things dissappointed them:
Lens cover gets loose after short use,
Battery life is short,
Video Recording resolution too small,
Problems with software (Phone freeze or won't be turn on)
Ringtone volume too soft.........etc
