Opposition MPs oppose Icasa nominations

Just read this in my morning paper:

MPs from three opposition parties strongly objected in the National Assembly yesterday to the inclusion of two communications department officials on a list of eight candidates for Independent Communications Authority of SA councillors. Communications Minister Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri will select five people from a list approved by the assembly. Linda Ensor - Business Day, Wednesday, September 13 2006.

I doubt this will lead a revised list, but we can live in hope...
