Item being sold: iPod Nano 4GB Black, with Clear Shield & Contour iSee case
Location: Sandton, JHB
Selling price: R2000
How old is the product: around 18 months

I am selling my mint condition iPod Nano. It is 4GB, in black, with all the original boxes, accessories, manuals etc. (I am very fussy about keeping everything in order  ). When I ordered it I also ordered:
- Power Support Clear Film for iPod Nano
- Contour Design iSee Hard Case for iPod Nano

I am very meticulous so it is in pristine condition (I did not take it out the box before the film & case arrived, and applied them immediately before using the Nano).

New, all these cost me around R3000. To get them new today would cost over R2600 (new 4GB black Nano is around R2200, the case around R400, the film around R70-R80). I am looking for a quick sale -R2000 takes it all. Can be picked up / meet up in JHB or can ship anywhere in SA.

PM me if you are interested.
Cheers,
X

PS. being sold as there is no need for it anymore, have a PSD for photo storage which does music too.

With a new iPod 4gb currently selling online for R2249 and discounting the price reductions announced yesterday I'm thinking you're asking a little too much even with the case.

Yours is missing an incredibly valuable feature - the warranty.

BTW - Whats a PSD?

Granted, the new ones have been released. But they are only expected here in a while (I assume at least a couple of months before stock hits SA), plus the exchange rate isn't looking too promising :( . Either way, if anyone is genuinely interested they are free to PM offers and we can take it from there :D

BTW....PSD = photo storage device.

BUMP...looking for a quick sale. I am going overseas this weekend and would like to sell it before then. Will sell everything for R1800.

I disagree. The Nano is flash based - much higher lifespan than a HDD based one IMO.

Very high price given its age - one would expect a max 2-year lifespan on a device like that.

Well I agree with this. They are quite delicate little things and there have been lots of quality complaints about them. Maybe R1k would be fair, given the risk.

Um....no! To be honest, anyone who is actually interested can PM reasonable offers...no point in arguing here just for the sake of arguing.

Peace out.

I agree with the X, the price is good X, if I had it I would've taken it ;)

We may want to consider this policy for sale posts?

Absolutely no “trashing the sales” posts! Have respect for the seller. If indeed the item is available for a ridiculously low price somewhere else and you absolutely feel the need to let others know, do it in private. If you think the seller is nuts (seriously – sometimes the seller may not be aware that the item is available brand new at a lower price elsewhere) you may want to politely inform them privately (E-mail or PM) so they may consider an adjustment to the price?

Got this from these guys they run a very "tight" forum with great Buy/Sell/Trade sections: http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=47850

You should have just put the link in from the beginning ... you know I am a lazy bugger :D

I knew the phrase long before I found the link for the lazy bugger.
