Talk Like A Pirate Day. Virgin Mobile

Is this genuine? I don't mean talk like a pirate day itself. Is it linked from the main Virgin site?
 
I found the link on VM's website. But I don't see it there anymore. Don't know why they took it off. I think the people/person working on the website doesn't always know what he/she/they are doing.:rolleyes:

Same with the View bill. It was on for a while now it is off again.
 
Well i guess it is geniune as its been all over 5fm radio this last few days... 1c/min for phone calls

Ya, but don't you think Virgin is trying to make some form of statement. Why the 19th of September. Afterall they were prepared to go to court for the MNP to be effective on the 19th of September.

What do you think.

Don't know really. Talk like a Pirate day is something that started overseas. It's not something that Virgin Mobile started here.

I get what you're saying, but i don't think it's pure coincidence that the Talk Like A Pirate Day conveniently happens to be on the same day as the proposed NMP.
Talk of serious markerting. I say they must reduce my calls permanently instead of just one day.
