Who the heck is VODACOM 7?

I have been getting SMS from a VODACOM 7 requesting me to confirm my new contract details. Furthermore, they request ME to phone THEM. Their number is some arbitary 082 number.

If this is indeed Vodacom, then I have two things to say:

1. In this golden age of fraud, do you honestly expect someone to reply to something like that?

2. Why didn't you get my details right in the first place?

I'm not impressed!

I'd appreciate any light that someone can shed on this.

Ja me too. As long as I get the bill and the line works, THEY can call ME.
 
I'm sure it's a scam. I wouldn't call

Vodacom makes free phone calls (seeing as they own the network). If they wanted to call you, they would.
 
Don't call them, most internal sms'es that come from vodacom will come as VODACOM 1 - 7. All this mense is some vodacom employee figuared out how to send smses ....

SMS them fake information from vodacom4me of course....
