ICASA boss’ ADSL pricing statements infuriate broadband users

I hope this article is forwarded to everyone it possibly can be. Get the people from Carte Blanche to have a look at it.
 
Telkom and Icasa gravy train

Hello folks.

this isnt hard to believe that ICASA would come up with this sort of statement.

lets look at the following:

Goverment has controlling shares in ICASA and Telkom. Telkom are charging prices which are way above International Standards. Government gets rich so therefore the top honchos get rich.

Icasa top honchos also get rich.

They are all just riding the gravy train along with most the cabinet ministers. why should they care how much Tekom are charging. they probably get the service for free along with all the R 700 000 plain trips.

Reality is Government is screwing things up for all the people. ICASA is just a farce to make people think the government cares about there telecommunications problems.
 
To tell the truth the govement and govement controlled places of this country dose not know what they are doing.

When they see money they do not care about the ppl.

Paris is nothing more than a prostitute for Telkom and the government.
Take the money and do whatever they want. No morals.
 
I think it's now time to investigate a couple of these people's bank accounts, because we can't all be stupid enough to believe that money isn't being slipped into some back pockets here and I think that this article proves it.
The problem is that this statement included the morons from ICASA all the way up to our useless president.

Look at whats happened to our RAND, every day it's getting weaker and weaker and this shows us that even the rest of the world is learning how our country is being run(Corrupted).
Surely after being given the 2010 soccer world cup you would think people would like to take the oportunity to invest here, therefore giving our RAND a little more power, but instead it looks as though we are heading the same way as Zimbabwe.

RPM do you know if there is anyway we could make this happen? Not sure if Carte Blanche would go for something like this, but it could be worth a try.

Agree. Telkom pay tax, so why should the government do anything that will negatively affect their tax revenue.

Prince Paris needs to know this

This led to the Trojan war(read: collapse of SA's broadband), which ultimately resulted in the death of Paris.
Before he died, he begged his nymph Oenene (read: Telkom) to heal him. She refused.
Mr. Mashile I hope these analogies are frightening you.
