There should be a link or something on mxit where you can fill in your msn details. Haven't used it myself as I don't really use mxit, but I have seen it on the mxit I have on my pc.

Read the forums on the MXIT website. They explain step-by-step what to do.

MXIT is just an application allowing you to connect to the MSN, Yahoo, AIM or ICQ network from your cellphone.

I'm on Google Talk and communicate to some friends via Mixit on their phone. It's much easier than MSN. On ur phone choose New Contact, then choose Google Talk and type in the person's GMail address and a nickname. Easy, done! For MSN on Mixit it says you (the Mixit user) first has to register as an MSN user. I have both MSN and Google Talk accounts with the same Gmail address, but one of my friends does not have access to a PC, so she couldn't first register with MSN. She happily added me as a Google Talk contact tho.

It's also very fast. I type and she responds in no time :D

My mixit has never successfully logged in to MSN, I'm getting a bit upset coz my agile mobile trial ends on Sunday! I've tired mig33 but honestly, nothin comes close to Agile.

mxit sucks no one I know has managed to get it to work, but I find agile to be the best by far, it never gives me any problems.

I've read on the mxit forums that their MSN gateway is down, obviously why it doesn't work at the moment!

Agile is an amazing peice of software, best Symbian IM client by miles...untill they ask you to pay for it! It's amazing but I don't think I can justify paying 4euro a month to use it. When they give us a once-off option, then ya, but im not paying 30euro a year either.

People shouldn't forget about Fring! Fring is a good product for IMing from a phone.

The MSN gateway from mxit has always been flaky. Either doesn't sign in at all, or signs you off on pc but still doesn't sign in, or signs in and most of your messages dont go through, or signs you in but only the first message ever goes through, etc...

MSN on bing is quite stable - point your phone's broswer to wap.bing.im

eBuddy is also very good MSN/AIM/Yahoo - point your phone's browser to www.ebuddy.com/mob

There is NOTHING wrong with the Mxit and MSN gateway at this time. It was fixed about 2 months ago and has been perfectly stable every since.

I now use Mxit daily. Very stable and functional application that supports are very large variety of phones today.
