Telkom seems to be a company that operates above and beyond the law - or any regulator or authority.
Where is the share register? Is it not law that a share register must be available at all times - on hand to be shown on demand?
Surely lack of a share register is a commercial offense and telkom should be sanctioned?

Yes, lets get these pigs names out in the open once and for all.
They are surely to ashamed to be out in the open, falling from their high moral towers and now landed head first into the cesspit of self enrichment at everyone else's expense, including the country as a whole.
Some of them are now doubt influential figures, ones that pull the strings so to speak. I wonder if theirs an insider trading case to be made seeing that ICASA has changed its tune dramatically.

Not producing share register- Offence under Companies Act 1973
It was considered going after Telkom on this offence, but for good reason decided against this.
Don't forget that the article tells us that certain individuals have been 'concealing' their identity by owning Telkom shares through 'trusts'. Therefore their names wouldn't even come up on a Sharholders' Registry because the shares would be held in the name of the 'trust'.

Doesn't matter where you are in the world, money talks volumes.
And while these few select individuals earn heaps of money from the Behemoth Telkom through Dividends and Share Value, the Country is being held back in the last century.
The DOC doesn't seem to mind either which makes the public say many of the things that they do about Poison Ivy and Co, as to why they sit back and watch the country lag behind.
Perhaps the rumours are true that members of the DOC own Telkom Shares?
As no list of Telkom Shareholders is still forthcoming.
All those years of paying taxes and inflated telephone accounts to put Telkom on the map, just handed on a silver platter to some very undeserving individuals.
